Denbighshire is the oldest inhabited part of Wales. It has been home for the human race for 225,000 years as Neanderthal remains were discovered near St Asaph.

There are no less than six castles in the county, making it a fabulous place for history lovers. Nature lovers are no less catered for with coastline to enjoy, hills to hike, the River Clwyd, and the Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
